Postgraduate Research

The Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences has a well established record of research in the many disciplines encompassed within its activities. Its commitment to postgraduate study has been reflected in a significant growth of its research student numbers.

Applications to undertake research on a topic of your own choosing at MA or Ph.D level are very welcome. Those interested in doing so are encouraged to review faculty interests and publications in the context of clarifying a topic and identifying a possible supervisor. Topics chosen should be within the parameters of faculty expertise.
